James's Bio

Family man, 4 kids, later in life, getting geared up to show them the wilderness on foot, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and the fellowship of nature.

Learning how to backpack in and camp at higher elevations for several days. Always new things and new ways to learn.

Well, it's light, it's compact. Finished the inflation in about 30 seconds by blowing up. Temp range outside tent was 5 degrees to 35 degrees. Snow outside, but not under tent. Warm, comfortable. Must be good, cause when I rolled off in my Marmot 15 deg. bag, there was a big diff in temp from pad to ground. I recommend this pad. Packable, comfortable and did well.

Took this bag into heavy snow and outside temps below 10 degrees. Inside tent the temps were slightly higher. Bag worked well, it was cold, snowing and damp all week, with over 10 inches of snow accumulating on the already 6 inches. Bag worked well. The weight and packability combined with the 15 degree rating and Membrain were the draw. I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs. it's just slightly snug in the shoulders, but hey, its camping.
