Familiarity: I've used it several times

Originally compared against the Thule comparable model. Yakima came highly recommended and I was not let down. The Jaylow Rack System has been perfect for my use. I also installed the SKS just in case and it is also a piece of mind. Those are also very easy to install and would recommend purchasing. The Jaylow is very easy to load and unload your kayak and was very easy to install. Driving at highway speeds with all the straps in place, I have heard no rattle so far and this is driving on WV roads. So, encountering potholes, gravel/dirt roads, winding roads and at times extreme elements. This rack has stood up to its rigidity. If this rack ever becomes to weathered or breaks somehow I will replace it with another Yakima product. If you are comparing I would highly recommend the Yakima Jaylow. I have it currently installed on an 11 Expedtion and load it with a Necky Rip 10 flatwater kayak.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

When I saw this boot on sale I immediately had to grab up a pair. I have known a few people who had this boot and swore by them so I figured I would do my research first, but still came back to this boot. This boot is a great buy for the price. Working as a ski instructor on the East Coast we are exposed to so many changing temps unfortunately for this year at least, and this boot stands up to the call, from below 0 to 40 degrees. It is a comfortable and lightweight boot. I mainly wear them with my ski socks but they can also accommodate my big woolys if needed. I would recommend these to my friends and others looking for a lightweight and comfortable boot that is also warm. The size is true to size at least in my case for the size 12.

This shirt is ridiculously comfortable. Love it to lounge in after a long day of being on the mountain or just wear around town. The only complaint I have about it is that the lettering on the shirt was already faded and not as bright as you would expect the lettering to be on a brand new shirt. Other than that this is one of the most comfortable shirts I own.

Jake Kwrote a question about on December 12, 2013

Hey,

I am looking for a new pair of skis for this upcoming season. More of an All Mountain ski since it will be mostly east coast until possibly the spring. I was comparing the TST and the El Rey. I am 5'10 215 and was wondering what the best ski choice would be for mainly East Coast skiing with some West like Colorado and Utah in the mix as well.

I honestly don't know what everyone is complaining about with the sizing. I took them out of the packaging the minute they arrived at my door with the thought in the back of my mind that they would fit too tight in the waist because of the majority of the reviews, but honestly they are true to size. I ordered a 38x30 and they fit great. I can comfortably move around in them and work in them. Look forward to using these for work all summer.

This pack is absolutely amazing. I literally have no bad things to say about it. It holds everything that I need for a couple days hike. I use it mainly for overnight and 2 day hikes. It sits very well and I would recommend this to everyone. I also recommend getting it baked and molded to you, it just made it that much more comfortable.

This helmet is by far the lightest helmet I have ever used, and is also just as good as any other helmet on the market for its class. It fits snug to my head and is true to size. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone.
