Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size
With UA's base 4.0 shirt on underneath, Sirius balaclava, and it being 18F outside, I wore this jacket around tonight as I took the dogs for a walk on the property. I thought I was going to be cold in the wool panels from it breathing so much, but I was already sweating as I snowshoed around. When I left the house I considered putting on my puffy vest, but I would have been too hot. This jacket is great on cool days (60s-high 50s) if you're just walking around town, but would be too warm zipped up if you're doing serious hiking. It would need a bit of layering below that for either casual wear or hiking.
I like all the pockets in this thing. There are two hand, zip-ups and a zippy chest pocket on the outside, two big ones on the inside, and a little, cloth-lined zip-up security pocket on the left inner side. I can fit a regular-sized (~4"x3") wallet in there. There are also cinch straps in the outer pockets in case the jacket is too wide in the hips for you. I haven't had to touch those. This jacket fits very nicely and is comfortable. I also don't have issues with the sleeves being too short/long. At ~135lb, 5'7, relatively in shape, small chest, a Medium fit me perfectly. I would probably up-size if I had a larger chest so the shoulders wouldn't be too tight across the back.
