5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 125 lbs
Size Purchased: Purchased a 40 when I was a little heavier. I just belt them and they're great. I'd order a 38 nowadays. I can fit a tight baselayer underneath on cold days.

I have taken these pants hiking in the woods, through rivers, across rocky plains, and around the ranch to take care of all the critters and maybe chop some wood. These pants are terrific! They have incredible range of movement, which is often lacking in pants in general. The cargo pockets aren't gigantic, but can still fit quite a bit inside. I recently figured out that the zippers on the sides, both up by the thigh and down by the ankle, are useful when it gets a bit too warm. I'd mostly worn these pants in cooler weather (snowy Minnesota forest and wintry Colorado plains), but a recent hike down the bluff nearby on a warm day prompted me to unzip the thigh zippers and let some air circulate. How novel. Sometimes I wish there were pockets on the butt, but generally find that the pockets provided are ample. Through all the rocky seats I find or fallen logs, these pants have seemed to be able to keep the seams/fabric together without loosening/tearing. They have the reinforcement in the right places, and the rest of the material is sorta stretchy so your freedom of movement isn't hindered. I'm looking forward to taking these rock climbing at Devil's Tower later this summer. I think they'll be great!

I'm ordering the Nikka Pro pants as well to see what those are all about. I might just get rid of all my other pants and just keep these two Fjallraven pairs because they're so dang useful and look spiffy.

Red Rocks, NV - Whiskey Peak, Frogland

I got my Scarpa Force shoes earlier this year. I have the red/black/white version. They're really comfortable. I kind of wish there were three straps instead of just two, but that's just my preference, not a lacking the shoe has. Sticky and fits well, with a toe box that lets my toes breathe a little and soft leather upper that allows my longer second toe (Morton's toe) to bend up a bit without pain. Overall, loving them. Wore them all day on this climb without any issues. <3

At first I was a bit wary of them because of the high arch and tight straps which sit lower than my normal flip flops, but these grew on me. They're heavier than I expected, which probably accounts for the lower strap line, but they're not uncomfortably low or heavy, so neither is a con. The leather is soft and forms quickly to your foot. I wear an 8/8.5 and originally ordered an 8, but they were too small so I got a 9. They fit great with a little room around my feet. My flat feet are happy in these arched sandals and I wear them nearly every day now. Insta-fav!

Three years later:
Still loving these sandals. Wear them constantly. The leather straps are holding up fantastically. I've worn a groove into the leather where my big toe goes, but that hasn't created any issues other than looking like I live in these shoes (which I pretty much do). Solid sandals. Still my favorite.

I bought these on recommendation from my boyfriend at the time. They looked cool and have great arch support, so I figured it'd work out. Alas, they are not the sandal for me. The soles are hard and the heel was really uncomfortable. Meaning, my heel was sore at the end of the day from wearing these. I'm not sure if it's just because the sole rises up on both sides of the heel or what, but they're mighty uncomfortable for my foot. The arch support is great though. The straps are fun to play with, but they do have to be adjusted every time you put them on because my big toe ends up getting bothered. Good luck with them though. He loves his Chacos; I just wish mine had worked out.

At 5'6, 135lb with a 34/36A, I figured the medium would be just fine. However, because of the cut of the bra, it was tight under my arms and cut in a bit more than I was comfortable with. I sent it back and got the large and have been happier with it. It sits about mid-rib cage, doesn't ride up at all, but is still a little higher under the arms than I'd like. It cuts in a little at the front of my arm pit where that fleshy bit is. But, it's comfortable and keeps the girls in their place, so I'm satisfied.

At 5'7, 140lbs, I figured a Medium would fit fine for me, as that's usually what I wear. No way. Going along with what one of the other ladies said, it would seem that NF expects you to have quite a bit of chest to fill out this shirt. I, unfortunately (for them?) do not, so this shirt was baggy and ill fitting. The shirt was rather baggy in the middle as well, which I found odd. I expected it to be a bit more form fitting than it turned out to be. The material is comfy and the style could be cute, but it didn't work out for me.

I got the black bra, which looks like it might have a little different cut than the colored ones. I got a medium, which for a 34A I thought would have been fine, but it was way uncomfortable. It cut up under my arms in the front and back, and was quite a bit tighter than I expected it to be, in a bad way.
I'm going to try a larger size, and different color in hopes that it redeems itself.
