I am really happy with this boot. The walk mode mechinism is awesome and lets you take longer strides, saving you lots of energy over long tours. Yet, when you lock it into ski mode the boot is stiff and every bit as powerful as the Dalbello Krypton alpine boot, letting you drive fat skis down big lines after you've put in the effort to tour to the top.

The only things that could be improved on in the future generation of this boot is to make the vibram sole more durable and to tighten up the fit in the heel. Then this boot would be perfect.

Best boot out there! This boot is so customizable and in the hands of a good boot fitter, it would work for almost anyone. You will not get a more comfortable and high performance fit than the Gold Intuition liners. Most of the top freeskiers in the world are in a 3-piece shell type boot. The Dalbello is the most customizable and durable of them out there.

Zero camber is the way to go. It floats as well as a reverse camber ski but still keeps the ability to charge in crud and variable snow. As soon as you put any weight on a zero camber ski in powder it becomes effectively reverse camber. This ski is stiff enough to open it up and charge without it flopping around on you but is still forgiving and fun to smear turns in the trees. Simply put, this is a fun, no compromise, ski everything powder ski.
