For the price on CL these cages are great, they look awesome and really hold the bottle tight when mounted on the frame. Found out the hard way that there is no chance in the world that these things will hold bottles on a rear mount system. While riding on some slightly bumpy roads these things become bottle launchers fairly quickly. I would really hate to see how fast bottles would fly off while riding gravel roads. If these would hold on a rear system they would certainly get 5 stars but since they can't I can only give them 3.

This is my second go around with the cutter tubes from BT. The first 8 I bought about 2 years ago and I had awesome luck. I used them on both my road and tri bike putting thousands of miles on them. 2 were junk out the box but the rest took almost 2 years to blow through so that says something. Just go my second batch and so far have only used 1 with zero problems. Trusted these on my bike for IM Lake Placid and had no issues or fear of flats.

Found out the answer myself this past weekend. In short NO they will not keep the bottle from flying out of a behind the seat mount when on rough roads.

Will this cage work with behind the seat racks? I am sure any cage will work but does anyone know if these things will keep my bottles from flying out of the rack when I go over a bump?
Thanks

I had submitted a review previously giving this a poor rating due to the size. After playing around with the helmet for a little while I found I was adjusting it incorrectly. Once adjusted correctly this thing fits like a glove. I have not had the chance to log miles with it on (which is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars), but it fits great and looks SICK. For the price on BT I would totally recommend this helmet to anyone. I am a huge fan of Giro Atmos helmets and so far I like the LAS Victory much better. It seems to fit my head better and was almost half the price.

I have tried tons of different types of nutrition and Accelerade is my least favorite. It is way too sweet and left me with a really bad metallic after taste. I found it made me more thirsty and I had to pound down tons of water just to quench my thirst on really hot days. There are way better products out there that actually taste good and work awesome in terms of all around training/race day nutrition. I will never go back.

I am a long time XC racer/Triathlete and have always worn the spandex b/c they never got caught on the saddle and allowed me to move very freely on the bike. Saw these shorts on CL and figured I would take a chance on them. SOOOO glad I did. These things not only look sweet they feel awesome on. They feel like you have spandex on but you dont look like a tool on the trails. They move very freely, I have worn them a handfull of times on some nasty single track and not had much of an issue with them getting hung up on the saddle. I would rate them a bit higher if they breathed a little more, being in the North East it is pretty humid at times and even with the zippers open they trapped in some heat. It was 90 and humid as h#ll but what can you do. Waiting for them to go on sale again to get another pair, these things ROCK.
