I'm a big fan of Flow bindings, currently have Flow NX2- AT and really like the design and ability to get into the binding without seating on the snow. Therefore, when it was time to buy kid's bindings the choice was clear. However it seem that Flow really made Flow Micron as a cost saver. There are several main issues with this bindings - no standard ratchets, material the ratchet's straps are made and highback locking mechanism. It's almost impossible to proper adjust the straps, since you have to press on top of UniFit PowerStraps and lock the ratchets. In cold weather the ratchet strap plastic became very stiff and rase UniFit PowerStraps up. Insignificant amount of snow jams highback locking mechanism and it's hard to unlock it.
Overall it's sad that Flow wnt stingy on materials when designing this binding. They should really redesign it.

I've tried all 3 bags, Freerider 18, 24, and 26

I'm 6.2 therefore 24 was too short.

18 did not have a lot of space - one I put a hydration reservoir, there was not too much space left.

26 fits right and has enough space to keep hydration reservoir, extra fleece jacket, tools, and goggles.
Nice feature to carry the helmet on outside with the net.

The pack is also very slim when empty. So if you need just a back protection, you don't need to worry about falling off the lift chair.

Straps work well to keep snowboard when hiking. However the pack's belt have not been designed for weight distribution, rather to keep pack tight while riding.

One feature I would add is insulated sleeve for hydration reservoir delivery tube. Come on... it's a winter pack .. what was they thinking?

Overall it's a great bag, minus one star for missing insulated sleeve.
