Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've owned this one for a couple years, and really like it. I like having a glass alternative since the plastics often infuse a taste in warmer weather, and despite each round where they tell us THIS plastic is safe we always seem to find out otherwise. That being said, it's a glass bottle, so it's got some weight. To those complaining about how heavy it is...you bought a glass bottle. Think about it.

My only two gripes are I wish it was a bit bigger (but that would obviously make it heavier) and the cap is a huge pain to screw on. Like other posters, it often takes 3 or 4 tries to get the threads lined up. I understand they have new cap options now, so this may no longer be an issue.

Fit: True to size

I've owned these for over a year, and really like the look. They are probably one of the most awkward/uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. They angle your feet inward, causing a weird foot position. I keep going back to them because I love how they look, but every time I regret pulling them out of the closet. I've worn them walking around Europe, light hiking and just around the house and always comment that I wish I hadn't. I know I should just trash them at this point, but I'm always loyal to my gear, so it's hard.

I bought this pack as something for short day hikes (where I wouldn't be taking full camera gear) and weekend trips. I was a little wary when I first opened it, as the fabric seemed thin and the whole pack felt too lightweight (aka cheap). I couldn't have been more wrong. The main compartment is a true stuff sack and has taken everything I've thrown it's way. Quick weekend in Hong Kong (including a second pair of shoes)? Check. Winter weekend in the central Utah mountains (including an extra jacket)? Check. Quick trip to So Cal for a wedding (including dress clothes)? Check. Well, that last one was a stretch since I had to do a lot of ironing, but you get the point.

All in all, this is a great pack for the money when you're looking for an easy way to pack a weekend's worth of clothes and personal items (clearly not a backpacker's pack). Large main compartment, as well as additional top-side compartment for quick access to toiletries, etc. And, it all folds in on itself nice and neatly when not in use.
