I'm a big fan of aluminum bindings. This year I figured i've heared alot from Bro's about these puppies and i'll give em a shot. man theses are perrrrrrrrfect!!!!! the right amount of stiff/cush and bling. they handle hard turns, tweaked out jibs, and hard overshot landings. oh and did i mention CUSH? soo freaking comfortable! i'm alittle worried about the longevity of them because of a little bity peace of plastic right along the heel cup on the high back it so skinny i'm beeting if they break thats where it's going to be. but it's still super early in the season we will see in about 20 more days.

Shopping for that great binding for less then the down payment on a car? Then search no more. Everything about this binding makes sense. Strong (I can't believe it's not aluminum), light, a forward lean that works, and ALUMINUM clasps that strap as hard as you want, the top strap is really comfortable and the front strap won't come out but extends far enough to get in and out quickly. You can even slip it over when you’re on the lift (who wants to use stomp pads?). The base plate lines up with even those really weird hole set ups (I’m talking about you Burton.) And a forward lean that really is a "quick release." This binding rules!!!

It was to good to be true. Nice Burton bindings for this price. Save your pennies. The freestyle bindings have some good options if your just starting out but they have some major flaws. When your hitting heavy hills (35*+) you want a binding that will keep you in hard. The top strap teeth have major slippage problems and just don't have the torque you needed to get you there. To much flex and movement in the heel support during those times you need your edge to really grab hard. And the forward lean just doesn't cut it. If you looking for something to last you from bunny hills to sick backcountry chutes spend a little more. But if you one of those riders who wants to spend the rest of your life on happy little blues then these are for you.
