I can second many comments posted here already. I don't typically write reviews for products but I don't typically get something SO poorly thought out.

Both my fiance and I bought the same headlamp and both had the same problem with flickering light after MINIMAL usage. We used ours for one two-night backpacking trip and, thank god, only discovered the problem after we tried to use them after we got home. Upon quick research, lots of other people have had the same problem.

I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT.

Being a tall guy (6'2") I needed a pack with a long torso length in addition to big capacity for week long+ hikes, and this one fit the bill pretty well. Seems beefy enough to handle a good bit of abuse dished out, and the two side pockets are nicely situated for incidental doodads and water bottles (mesh one fits a Nalgene perfectly). The suspension seems like it could handle heavy loads with ease, though I've yet to really test its capacity in that regard.

Coming from the perspective of a minimalist, though, some of the features seem a bit extraneous. No matter how you strap down the buckles on the pack, there's always two female ends sticking out somewhere with no male ends to put them into. The sleeping bag compartment has straps that seem excessively long, as well, with an extra set of buckles on them - I've yet to figure out their function. The external pocket is nice, though, for stuffing wet rain jackets or extra layers into so you don't have to go digging through your pack to put them away.

I was at the grocery store in my monkey man the other day when the one cashier said to the other, "Pat down his jacket." I thought they were accusing me of shoplifting, but the cashier just stuck her arm out and stroked the phur on the arm of the jacket and said, "Ooohh, this must be the comfiest jacket ever!"

I wear mine basically everywhere, and besides the fact that it's cut a little short for my torso length (6'3"), I can find no faults. Another great product from MH.

I thru-hiked the PCT with this pack and was quite impressed. I needed something that was lightweight, yet able to hold moderately heavy loads for short stretches, and the ozone fit the bill nicely. As advertised, it comfortably held between 30 and 40 pounds without putting too much strain on your hips or shoulders. The material is lightweight, yet really durable so long as you don't toss it around like a bowling ball. My only gripe is that the screw that holds the right strap onto the frame tends to loosen up and come out if I don't check it from time to time. All in all, a great pack that I still use, even after putting 2,600+ miles on it.
