I am a recreational/technical tree climber, facilitator and instructor. I recently bought a CAMP USA Orbit Twist Lock Carabiner. It looked like a good, light-weight auto-locking utility biner at a great price.
My main complaint is the extremely sharp edges, both around the sleeve cutouts that allow for passage of the noses when opening, and along the two horizontal grooves in the sleeve grip.
Some of these edges can break the skin. I wouldn't recommend using this biner around any life support rope without modification. I'm going to try some steel wool to take the edges off.
