Happy Paddler wrote a review of Dagger Charleston Kayak 15.0 on May 7, 2004
I recently purchased a Dagger Charleston 15.0 to serve as a second boat. I have paddled the kayak flatwater rivers and lakes over the past month (roughly 3 to 4 times per week). I am so happy with my purchase!! Lots of room in the cockpit (I am 6'1", 185 lb), easy to maneuver, tracks pretty well, easy to handle by myself as far as car-topping is concerned. I haven't maxed out the cargo space yet, but there seems to be plenty of room--looks like I could easily pack my tent, two sleeping bags, other camp gear and some food for a weekend kayak camping trip.
Please let me provide some feedback about the service I received from BackcountryStore.com. I am so happy with your service. I had an uncomplicated experience last year when I ordered a kayak and
expected the same this year when I ordered my Charleston. Unfortunately the kayak arrived in damaged condition--I was practically expecting to have to convince someone that it wasn't my fault when I first called. My concerns were unfounded. To a person everyone was extremely helpful. Especially in the day and age of fast profits, I felt as though my satisfaction was paramount. A replacement kayak was sent out almost immediately even before the damaged kayak was shipped back. I would highly recommend the Dagger Charleston 15.0, and even more highly recommend BackcountryStore.com--their committment to customer service is OUTSTANDING.
