I have used this shirt for backpacking, climbing, and casual wear. The fabric is as you would expect from a shirt in this style; superbly comfortable, breaths well, dries quickly, and is very durable. Even after a week of warm weather backpacking the shirt picks up a little odor that is easily cleaned and will not hold on to stench as some shirts will.

The roll up sleeves are incredibly easy to use and convenient and you totally forget about it when it is either rolled up or down in the long sleeve position; the inner retaining strap and button on the sleeve cause no discomfort and are unnoticeable in regular use.

I am not certain what the other reviewer is showing on this shirt because there is no button on the retaining strap for the sleeve and the mesh backing is very well attached to the shirt and I have had no trouble putting the shirt on partially buttoned.

I bought these shoes wanting a mildly aggressive comfortable edging shoe for the granite I typically climb on. I sized in line with my regular shoe size of 10.5 and the fit was snug. The shoe performed beyond its non aggressive look and stuck amazingly on small edges on granite and plastic. After about 3 months of heavy use the toe box had not budged in the least and the exceptional pressure on the joint of my big toe became too much to bear (that and the odor).

Bottom line, if these fit your feet the rubber is amazing and the shoe performs well but if you have a slightly longer big toe you are probably in for a world of pain.

I was looking for a slightly aggressive but very comfy shoe and this pair fits the bill perfectly. These aren't the shoes I would go for if I was trying to do an overhanging project but for a general fun day at the crag this is the shoe. I sized down 2 sizes from my street shoe (45 to 43) and that gives the perfect balance of toe snugness without making me wince when I use them on micro chips.
