Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have had this kit for a little while now and its great! Its not too heavy at under a half pound. My scale weighed it at 6.5 ounces. There is a little bit of everything in here. Take a look at my video below reviewing the kit to find out exactly what this kit includes.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really like this set as it can be very customizable for what you are using for. I've used it on a half dozen trips now and it never fails. For solo trips I take out one of the plates and one of cups, and doing this allows me to fit a gas canister where the second cup usually is. My MSR Microrocket stove, igniter and a lighter all fits in one cup, and utensils, teas, sugar, napkins and MSR canister- stand all fit in the pot. The fact that all these things fit is great!

I'm not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about with the pot holder...mine is tight and hasn't failed once. Strains perfectly, Click over the top perfectly, and the MSR coffee strainer works perfectly. I haven't seen a reason to take the handle off and I really don't think you are supposed to, which is prob why theres' is getting loose. I do agree the mug lids are tight, but not annoyingly tight. They kinda click on, and will prob loosen up after more use. See my vid below on how I use this set.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

First the bad, then the good. Opened up the tent and set it up only to find a pea-sized hole in one of the mesh windows :( Backcountry took care of me on the return but ended up getting the Kelty Gunnison 3.2 instead. This was the second Marmot (first was the Limelight II) that wasn't up to snuff on quality control, which stinks because I typically like Marmot products.

Despite the hole, this is a well made tent. I was impressed with the design and the overall space it seemed to provide. Though its really a 2 person tent as 3 wouldn't be too comfortable at all. I'm 6'3" and I fit great thanks to the rare long length of this one. Everything about the tent seemed to be of great quality, except the way the mesh screens are sewed in. The corners of the screens are abnormally tight and is where I had my small hole. This either happened due to the way it was packaged or from the first setup. The only other thing I didn't like about the Limelight 3 is that the vestibule entry doors roll the wrong way (opposite or away from the zipper door). Therefore when you roll half the vestibule back you have hunch over way down to get in the vestibule to unzip the whole door. Not the end of the world, but kind of annoying. The included gear loft is a nice add-on but very small and only fits a couple things. The footprint fits perfectly.

Overall a decent tent, just be careful with the mesh.
