Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had this glove for two seasons. I loved it at first. It kept my hands nice and toasty. My hands never got wet thanks to the Gore-Tex. The cuffs worked great to keep snow out. My compaint is that the seam started to tear where the rubbery grip material on the palm meets the fabric in web of my hand. Since the gore-tex fabric wasn't torn I think the glove is still water proof, but it causes a problem for snow and heat. Unfortunately Burton would not grant me any type of credit towards another pair. Thus my low rating. If you want more than one season out of a glove, I'd look elsewhere. (I am a Gore Mountain Tech and review products for Gore).
