I bought mine for a bargain and I'm glad I didn't pay any more. It's really just a casual jacket. No real warmth properties, can't comfortably layer much underneath and I've found it to not breath very well. Things it does do well are block wind and light moisture, and it's really tough. Good for carrying firewood back to camp.
Lightweight, comfortable, looks great and performs well. Light precipitation rolls right off. The stowable hood is really handy. Athletically cut but roomy enough so that I can easily layer a fleece underneath for temps into the mid 20's. The lightweight fabric seems like it wouldn't be as durable but rocks and branches have left no marks. Supurb softshell.
I was pretty happy with these for a month. They're lightweight, look great and fit well. The deal-breaker is that the lenses scratch really easily. Glad I got these on sale.
