I gave it 4 stars for now, but it could get to 5. Very happy with the jacket. Bought an XL, and it is very roomy (6' ~200 lbs). I will layer this below a THF Apex jacket for colder days (I wanted something that could zip and had a hood specific for this plan). My THF Apex is a L, so I have some bulkiness underneath; but it overall solid fit. Dakine seems well made, and the color combo was nice compared to all of the plain-Jane Nikes that are out there.
I haven't owned it long enough to really give a good review, but so far it has been pretty good. It isn't as warm as I expected it to be. I expected it to be closer to a Under Armor cold gear product, but it is lighter than that (maybe I should have purchased the Capilene 4). It seems pretty well made, and I've layered it along with a thin, fitted base layer & wind-breaker for 50*F runs that were very windy; and I was comfortable.
I haven't owned it long enough to give it a full 5 stars, but it has been very good so far. It does a great job blocking the wind while running (no significant rain fail encountered yet). I've run with it and a fitted base layer (not a thermal or UA type shirt) in 50* weather and been very comfortable. So far happy with it.
