Check these out:

Most mountaineering or climbing boots are going to have some sort of shank in the mid-sole. The toe box is definitely burly as these can be used to kick in steps on ice or rock (with or without crampons).

Feel free to chat in with one of gearheads for more options that will fit your specific needs!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Everything you could ask for in a leader! With preformed loops it is easy to attach to your fly line! I have the 7.5ft and 9.0ft for creeks and rivers accordingly. Seem super easy to unroll. I have not used anything else so I am not used to other issues with leader. I attached this tippet to this leader:

Strong and comes in the proper size for the trout I am looking for! I have the 3x and 5x. The trout are biting so they must not be able to see my line, sweet! Just attach to a leader by using a simple Surgeon's knot and you are ready to cast!

These will ski switch great Josh! Just be sure you are mounting near the core center of the ski for the best switch skiing performance. I generally like to mount my skis 2cm back from core center.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

My mom really likes this paddle! It is very light compared to other ones she has used in the past. It was easy to cut down to the proper size, just need a decent hack saw! Also the blade is not too big so you don't have to be a body builder to make clean paddle strokes.

I have a car and this Kayak is great for running mellow rivers with friends and family. Super easy to inflate/ deflate / and pack up. Rapids were a non issue in this thing. We had a cooler and three people in it at one point (although tight) the weight was totally fine!

I recommend this pump: http://www.backcountry.com/aire-barrel-pump-4-in
