Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bike shreds. I built up a size large in May (6'1" - 160 lbs) for primarily northern Utah riding. There are quite a few more in depth reviews out there on this frame, and they all pretty much relay its a good pedal going up and an absolutely ripper heading down- they are right on. The bike is just plain fun and finds a great balance of snappy scrubbiness with the ability to point err through the rough stuff. I've only ridden the bike in the "Low" setting, which is more then enough for descending our Utah trails. I've had no issues with the frame at all, well built - the Evil guys are super responsive when I've had a couple questions. The frame rips - you'll have fun on it!

Scott makes great skis, in fact I think they make some of the best. I previously had the P4 in a 191cm (traditional sidecut/camber) which made for a great everyday Snowbird ski. Unfortunately skis don't last forever and I picked up a pair of Punisher's last year. Although very different shapes, they ski with many of the same traits - neutral, solid and no surprises. Bottom line - these things rip and surprisingly enough they are extremely versatile. 108 underfoot is the sweet spot for western everyday sticks. The shovel design (similar to the Corupt Slasher) keeps the skis tracking straight in all conditions. It's easily the most used ski in my quiver and I find myself grabbing it most everyday. Well done Scott, keep making these (and bring back the P4)! PC: Dylan Bishop-Berry (@soggysombrero)

Got the fly fishing bug in the spring, shoppped around and went with the Sage 2250 to get me going. It's been a great, functional reel, drag adjusts and works very well. Very easy to pull the spool and switch to left handed retrieve. Definitely recommend this product.

Love the Proterra!

Just took my first venture in the Proterra. Thoroughly impressed by this offering from Merrell. I've only spent a few days rallying around with these bad boys, so this is pretty much a first impression. Well thought out design, easy to lace up, toe box is large, making it a comfy shoe to hike around trails and hang around camp in. The shoe performed awesome, super breathable, great grip on a variety of surfaces, and my feet were happy the entire time. Give these a try, I'm looking forward to the years ahead in the Proterra!
