Wore these boots all summer at Mt. Hood, and while they get the job done, Nike's done better. First off, I like Nike's- I've had the Zoom Force 1's for over a year, and really beat the hell out of them, and they've held out well. And if you were unaware, keep in mind, Nike's generally run a little more narrow than other boots- if you have average or skinny feet, you'll be good, but a wide foot, probably not so much. Unfortunately, but the only advantage I found in these DK's, compared the ZF1's, is the articulated ankle cuff. I liked the addition of that, but I think the ZF1s hold up better. (I still prefer my year old ZF1's to a 3 month old pair of DK's.) I also felt that the toe box in the DKs were smaller, where as in the ZF1s they fit me better. Finally I miss the lace cinch at the ankle on the ZF1s- not a huge thing, but it helped dial in the lacing that little bit more, while keeping traditional laces. Still pretty happy with these DKs. Not as tech-y as the Kaiju's, but a little more to them than the Zooms.
