I really want to like this jacket. The material, workmanship, aesthetics, etc are all great. The Dry.Q fabric is amazing. However, the fit is a bit strange, as has been described by a few other reviews. At 6'0", 190lbs, I pretty much ALWAYS wear a large. I tried that originally, and tried to make i work, but there just wasn't enough room for layering, sort of defeating the purpose of a skiing-specific shell. I exchanged for an XL which was a better fit, but it just left waaaaay too much room in the abdomen area, and since my beer belly isn't quite there yet, it was just too bulky in that area. I really hope MH work on the fit and sizing on these jackets in the future. They seem to be somewhat in no man's land in my opinion. Other than that, great piece of kit. If I could have made it work, and believe me I tried, I would have kept this for sure. I'm hoping to revisit in the future if/when they work on the sizing a bit.

This is a good glove, no doubt about it. Very high quality and the finish is superb. They have quite a bit of dexterity. However, I don't find them to be very warm. I tend to get pretty cold fingers regardless of layering/activity so take that with a grain of salt. I really like leash, very functional. I am in a size 9 and they are dead on. Honestly wish I had sized up to encourage more circulation and the ability to add a liner.

Great Jacket

I went ahead and purchased this jacket despite not being able to find one in person or get much info on it. The heavyier lining might not be for everyone, but I find it excellent. It can handle pretty cold temps without batting an eye but also manages to breathe well and keep things cool inside when needed. The jacket is no frills, and has a very understated but nice appearance. Fit is a little on the trim side, but allows ample room for several layers if needed. This magician/Houdini ability seems to be a trademark of Arc'teryx stuff from what I can tell. I wish the cuffs were adjustable, as it can be a little bit tricky trying to keep the sleeves of layers down while putting on, but a minor complaint for such a nice piece of gear.

I am 6'-0", 185lbs and slim to athletic build. Size Large (in Slate) fits me perfectly.
