Warm...If it's NOT windy!
3 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: Runs large

First things first, Patagonia makes great products. Every Patagonia jacket, beanie, fleece, & base layer I own is top notch. This fleece LOOKS great! I got the Dark Walnut and get plenty of compliments on it.

My only complaint is that the wind cuts right through this fleece. In West Texas the wind blows almost non-stop, hence the reason they put all these wind turbines here (see photo) I know, I know if I wanted windproof I should have gone with a shell.
Still a great looking piece and I will say it runs a little large like most Patagonia clothing.

5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

This jacket was a great investment. I bought the green jacket because it was 50% off and I love the color! I get all kinds of compliments. I've used this while skiing with a lightweight fleece on under and a good base layer and I was so warm I had to open up the vents under the pits to cool off. I've also used it in torrential rain storms and came out dry as a bone. In West-Texas we have some really high winds upwards of 70-75 mph at times and this little jacket keeps it all out! I love the design of the hood it fits perfectly even with a beanie on. The jacket will roll up into the pocket storage and makes it great for keeping in a backpack for those unexpected down pours. Great Job TNF!

Nice Jacket
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've owned the jacket for about a year now and using it while hiking, snowboarding, in 75 mph windstorms, temps of 12-18 degrees and I am well pleased. It will run very warm if layered properly. I'm a little husky at 5'8" & 225 lbs. and the XL fit perfect. The one complaint I have is the lack of a real hook & loop (velcro) fastener on the wrist cuffs. The plastic straps have a plastic hook that doesn't necessarily grab the loop portion on the sleeve. I have also one more con, there are no vents in the pits. I would like to be able to have some vents here when I'm very active. I also get many compliments on the jacket, asphalt/green.
