Cascadias are one of my favorite trail running shoes and have been running them since their 2nd model. Now they are on their 10th revision. The newer shoes have lower weigh uppers that are durable, and the soles/foot beds work well for my feet. The rock guard is excellent for trail running, especially when running through rock gardens and pockets of large sharp edged rocks. I definitely recommend these.

I use this as a daily jacket. Before this one, I just used my Columbia coat liner, but it was stolen. I bought this hoping that it would work in my Columbia shell (3-in-1 system), and it worked out just fine! It's not really a fleece liner like I was hoping for, but it cuts the wind well and adds another layer for those extra cold days. Or you can just use it for your daily.

I rode these tires for a full season and like them for the most part. The traction was excellent for the area that I ride in (northern UT). However, the side walls break down quickly and seep out liquid, so you always get back from a ride with mud caked to your wheels and crap flung all over your frame/fork. Mine bit the bullet when the sidewall got a small slit just above the bead. It took me a while to figure out what the hell was going on because the whole tire was wet and made it hard to find the issue. I would only recommend these if you found them on closeout and didn't mind replacing your tires in a month or two.

I've used swiftwick socks for the past 3 years almost exclusively. I searched and searched for the best running sock I could to avoid blisters while running. Probably tried 15 different socks before I discovered these, which was ridiculously expensive to figure out. I just needed something that wicked well to keep my feet dry, fit snuggly even after lots of use/washes, and something that had the right amount of slip inside my shoe to keep my feet from blistering.

After three years of high usage, I finally had one pair wear out. I also love these for cycling. I recommended these to one of my buddies to try for long distance hiking, and he also has fallen in love with them. I can't recommend them enough.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Tip of the hat to Osprey on this pack! I am super stoked to use this carry on for traveling. It is extremely light weight but very durable. Nicely built wheel system that will definitely out perform the new industry standard crappy twisting caster wheels.

The handle is also nicely built. This is one of the first things that I notice on bags. Most of the time they are ultra paper thin aluminum handles that feel like they are going to snap off just looking at them. But these are nice and solid and should provide a lifetime use.

I also like that the bag isn't hard sided and can collapse. Some carry ons are impossible to put in the overhead bins of smaller planes, but I'm pretty sure that this will fit if that pack is half way empty like it normally is on short trips.

Pocket accessability is also very good. Super convenient to put my liquids in the easy access pocket up top so that I don't have open up the bag completely while going through security. There is also a nice magazine pocket to stash a few of your favorite reading materials while you wait at the gate.

I was super excited to get this bag, but didn't realize at the time that it had an internal frame system. Not a deal breaker for having one by any means. It was light and made of high quality materials like every Osprey pack. The problem is that at the bottom of the framing system, there is a curved black plastic base on the outside of the pack that digs into your lower back. I tried mine on un-weighted, but could already tell it was a definite no-go. So I ended up returning it.

Fantastic helmet

I got this for my ever growing son. He absolutely loves the helmet. It is very comfortable. It vents well on warmer days and is awesome on those super cold days. His goggles fit wonderfully. I like the bright orange color so I can keep track of him when he is fearlessly whizzing past me on the super steeps! The photo is the ski wonder catching big air at Alta!

Fit: Runs small

These are a great pair of Gore-Tex pants. They work hard to keep you dry in the wettest of conditions. They add a nice thermal layer on super cold days so you do not have to layer that heavy on those snowy days. I find that they do run a little small. The legs are a little tight but not uncomfortable.

This is a fantastic Gore-Tex cover. It has done a great job of keeping my head dry on those rainy day commutes. It is extremely easy to put on and take off of your helmet. I wish there were some velcro straps to mount my helmet light system, but I am good with my handle bar lights. The cover acts as a good insulator as well on those colder or snowy days. I use ear warmers on cooler days so I do not get over heated.

This is a great light for the daily bike commuter. It is so quick and easy to install or remove. The lumens are super bright, so I feel safe on my early morning rides to work. I have not used it under wet conditions so I am not sure how water proof it is. I do plan on purchasing a few more for the family.

I use this daily on my commuter and love it! It is totally durable and very easy to install. Having both the QR and bolt is a nice feature. I use the QR so I can take it off when I know there is a long spell of dry weather and I am fortunate to be able to bring my bike into my work place, so I do not have to worry about theft!

I got these bindings for my wife's skis. She absolutly loves them! She is a very advanced skier and put them through the wringer this season. She was killing the bumps, steep and deep and all sorts of crazy terrain and had no issues. They were perfect in all conditions that Alta could throw at her!
