Does this come with a 2 way zipper?
Gave these as a gift for winter moto riding. Although they are not designed for this purpose they have worked great to keep the wind and winter cold off his hands. They are warm enough for winter riding here in Utah and I am going to but a pair for winter commuting on my bike.
I gave this as a gift and have heard good things so far. I bought this as a skort to be used for tennis. It does not hike or shift thanks to the wide waist band. The shorts stay in place and can even hold a tennis ball while you play. No complaints about it not breathing though it is winter now and she is playing inside currently.
The reason this binding design has been around so long is it rules. I have been skiing a Rosi FKS (same binding just different branding) for the last 6 seasons and absolutely love it. I never pre release out of these and only release when I need to. I have broken the rear post on them twice in the 6 years and both times Rosi has fixed them for me. Compared to Marker or Salomon bindings this binder has less play in the toe and heal and and can withstand abuse for many more seasons. It even holds up better than the STH 16 full metal over time and costs almost $150 less.
Technically a good shop can do this but it is not recommended. I would buy the size break you need and not modify them.
This is the first layer I put on and last I take off when I ski or bike. I love them since they breath really well and keep excess moisture away from my skin. I recommend these to anyone that does aerobic intensive activities.
Any skier knows that ski boots are not the most comfortable footwear in the world. The least you can do is wear the right socks to boost the comfort. I am not picky when it comes to socks but after receiving a pair of these a couple years ago as a gift I am sold. I just bought another pair and I love the way they feel inside my Dalbello Krypton Pro. They pad in all the right spots and no where else. They also do not bunch up or twist in my boot. My feet are happier than they have ever been now that I ski with these socks.
I have always had great things to say about the Patagonia gear I own, but when I bought this jacket I was blown away. I have worn this almost everyday since I bought it. The fit is great (I am 5'10" and weight 165 and wear a medium) and I can layer it under a shell or wear it as is around town with just a t-shirt under and still be very warm. In fact this is so warm that I wear it out in near 0 degree weather with just a t shirt, and I have worn it in snow storms and not got wet yet. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants a good layering tool or would like a great jacket for hitting the town. I also love the styling of this jacket and think it looks fresh with anything I wear.
Buy it and you won't regret it.
