Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been on these for +200k vert feet this season all over CO in every condition from iced groomers early in the season to 12+ inches of pow pow in the back country and these guys can handle anything you throw at them. I coupled them with the Schizo bindings; having the ability to move back -3 when it dumps makes an indescribable difference.. and conversely, +3 when I'm messing around/park/switch. Truly the one ski quiver killer. They GRIP the snow until my boots hit, and they float like water skis in the powder. Still poppy, yet rigid at high speeds. 5'10" 170lbs - chose 175 because I like having less ski in front of me for better maneuverability in moguls/trees/park... Don't need more speed or stability at high speeds, although I'm sure you sacrifice that extra float on powder days; life is all about trade-offs but these skis are the best I've demoed at mitigating any sort of trade-off (vs. JJ, S7, Bacons, etc.)! These are bada$$ skis.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Skied 8 straight days in the Rockies, putting them through the ringer in all conditions... after day three the cuffs started to shred until it created a hole big enough on day 5 that my brake got snagged going down bumps resulting in a massive crash... This has never happened (cuff cuts, yes; a HOLE, no) with any ski pants I've ever owned (say, half a dozen), especially after only a few DAYS on the mtn. Needless to say, not the durability expected from a $500 pair of ski pants...

Other than that issue - they're extremely lightweight (they're not insulated so I wore only 2-3 base layers which held up great in 5-35 degree weather), the inside vents are money, boot gaiters are extremely effective, and the fit is relaxed (M @ 5'10", 170). I'll never get ski pants w/o a bib; incredibly warm/secure when strapped up.
