Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I guess I have had this pack for nearly 5 years and have had it everywhere from the Northern Cascades to the Appalachian Trail. This pack holds everything but the kitchen sink for 2-3 night trips. Since I am a light packer these days, I find it best for a week plus. With all of the attachments Osprey has it is a sure bet for the money you spend. I most recently used it for the southern portion of the Appalachian Trail in June. It was hot and muggy but the Airspeed back panel kept me "cooler" and dry. If you are trying to carry a lot of gear, this is your pack for warmer weather. Be sure to take the time to set the pack for your torso before loading it down. Fitting appropriately makes all the difference on those long trails.
