Warm Fingers!!
5 5

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

Purchased these when I got tired to trying to use mittens or five finger gloves and freezing my hands when trying to photograph the great outdoors. I have to say these gloves are great for technical things. Hiked up to 10k in freezing temps and my fingers didn't get cold at all. After I got used to the split finger design, I was able to work my DSLR function buttons with no problem. Nice grip on the palms made it easy to adjust hiking poles, even with snow frozen to them.

I would recommend these to anyone, any cold weather sport!

Best hiking boots!!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

Finally gave in and got a pair and my feet are thanking me with every hike. Got a half size bigger then what I normally wear and they work great with padded socks. Have also worn them with thinner socks and don't have any problems. Easy to clean, water repellency is great, and solid feel.
Best feature I think is the stability in hiking down the mountain. No more foot slipping, solid feel on the ground, upper part of boot has just the right amount of stiffness to keep my foot planted.

Use it weekly as my gym bag. Holds everything you need, plus some. Outstanding on trails as the bottom of the pack slims down. Makes hiking/working with gear and equipment very easy as the pack doesn't get in the way. Outside clips do a good job of compressing the pack flat when you have minimal gear inside

Wish I had this jacket years ago. Works perfect for a running jacket. A little cool at first but once you start running you warm up without overheating. The back side of the jacket does a great job of venting excess heat away from you. Front pocket fits an iPhone 4 with case sideways perfectly. At 6' 190, wide shoulders, large fits perfect.

I was hesitant with the Ambit as just a heart rate monitor. It is a great watch but would I use all the bells and whistles this watch has to offer. Simple answer...YES. Have used the Suunto T3 as a previous heart rate monitor but the Ambit brings personal training and adventure to a whole new level.
I?ve been in the military 15ish years and been continuing to train and challenge myself every year. With that said, the heart rate monitoring features of the watch and belt are simple, easy to view, and accurate. The Ambit allows you to see a bar graph of your heart rate while you?re training. This feature allows you to push yourself with out over doing it. The accuracy and resolution of the GPS receiver is the best I?ve seen, (identified perfect ovals around a 400 meter track).
Bottom line?I would recommend the Ambit to anyone that enjoys training and the great outdoors.
