"Ultimate non-skid" as per a comment from a passer by at the trail head of our 12 mile trek. They worked perfectly for the conditions we were in (iced over snow) at San Jacinto Mtn C.A.. My girlfriend wore these and did not slip once but did tear a hole in her pants. They fit her great, were not too tight, and were very easy to take on and off. Would definitely buy a second pair as long as these ones last a respectable period of time.

Just got back from an over night backpacking trip in Zion national park and these held up just fine. I did get some toe jam on the way down, but I seem to have an issue with that regardless of the shoe. I have stepped in a few streams without water soaking through. There does seem to be poor arch support, the arches in my feet get sore after going 7-8 miles. These were more comfortable when backpacking compared to day hiking. Not a warm shoe, but does seem to breath fairly well.

Used this on my first backpacking trip; I am very glad I did the research and bought this instead of tablets. It fits inside of a 32oz nalgene wide mouth bottle, it is very light, and worked without any issues (I tested it the first night on some fairly dirty water without incident). Pair this with the Steripen pre-filter (sold separately) for a very light weight water purification solution.

Worked great on a backpacking trip. I was able to fit utensils, coffee, sugar, powdered milk, a couple of packets of oatmeal, and a coffee steeper inside (enough for 4 days); I was even able to fit my stove into one of the larger cups. The pan is a little unbalanced with the handle attached but not that big of a deal. Not too big, not too small; just big enough to cook good sized pancakes.
