I use mine in a hammock and it's great! Just use a sleeping pad with a decent R-value for insulation since the part of you that presses up against the hammock is more prone to become cold (same as if you didn't use a sleeping pad under you in a tent, the ground would keep ripping away heat). I use a Thermarest Trail Scout (R-Value of 3.7) and I never get cold. Highly recommend!
