Good for layering

Ok... DC makes some good products without a doubt and did a pretty good job with this vest. The cut is longer than most vests and it is an excellent layer under a shell without adding any bulk. Could be used by itself with a hoodie on warmer days.... casual wear when getting the ice off the windshield

Needed a bigger carry on and Dakine does the job here. I can get 3+ days worth of clothes in this baby. Handle is good length and wheels run smooth. Fits in the overhead perfect. Heads up though.... This bag will not fit in the overhead of the Embraer commuter jets between cities. You will need to check the bag....

The Pure SE has some good looks and I have gotten some comments on them. Yet there is something up with the stitching on the inside. There is a section of the shoe around the first eyelet that rubs against my right foot. Shoe is not too tight nor are the laces.... My girl had the same issue with a pair of DCs that she owned at one time. I have other DCs (both highs and lows) and this is not an issue. Fluke in the shoe? Not comfortable...

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I travel extensively throughout the country and this bag has already experienced about 60,000 miles in the air. Solid construction, the wheels are constructed to roll smoothly... The handle telescopes with ease with one hand. Bag has plenty of compartments for enough clothes to last more than a week. This bag has seen the hell of Philadelphia International Airport. If it can survive that place, then it can survive anything else.

Ok... so this vest is not needed right now here in California but I travel quite a bit and it is still $hit cold outside in some spots. Just used this vest up in Washington and it gave enough warmth that was needed in the mountains. It is a regular fit so an XL fits like an XL. It it not bulky like some vests but manages to keep that core warm enough. The hood ties are way to long... had to cut these down a bit. The hood does not come off which is the only drag. Given that, wearing it over a hoodie will not work as as long sleeve T will. According to 868 it can zip into a smarty jacket.... worth th price? Ya...

Cool thing about it is that it is more square in size... Meaning that it fits a back pocket better. Six card slots... Just enough for my travels. The window flap for the drivers license make it easier when someone asks just to look at it for credit card verification. Finally enough room from my c notes because I make the big bucks.

Layering up for street wear? This vest will pull it off if you are walking to the party or skating up to a bros house. It has a slim fit to it so you might want to go a size up if you want to wear it over a hoodie. Not meant to go under your shell... pretty much straight up streetwear.
