Nice light weight semi affordable pole. I did get the snow saw that is supposed to attach, the only issue is when you attach it to the saw it doesn't lock in place so I'm not sure how i'm going to use it if it doesn't actually lock?
The flick lock is pretty cool but i will say this, I was skiing trees and the lock hit a bush and opened. Then next pole plant I was missing half my pole! EEK! I slammed on the brakes and went back for it... not cool though. What if I was in a "no-fall" zone? ya know? Anyway, other than that it seems cool. I've only skied it a handful of times. If my feelings change I'll update this.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had this jacket for about a year now. It is RAD! Love the thing. I use it primarily to tour in. It is great because I can comfortably wear it on the up hill climbs. I've owned other Windstopper products but they never breathed as good as this one. It's awesome! The fabric feels great, almost like a hoody but waterproof.
I normally wear a Medium in most things but with this jacket after trying on the Medium and Large I went with the Large. I am 5'8" 145 lbs and have a 41" chest.
You may want to size up. I have room to layer for resort skiing

I have not used it but rather have it in the bottom of my touring pack for emergencies. Like the small size and pack-ability. Hope to never have to use it...
I think this is a good gift idea for those how have friends/family who tour but seem to have everything. Just sayin'

Welded seams, light weight, solid construction. It's way lighter than any other on-piece i've owned.
Originally I posted true to size, but I actually ended up going Large after trying it on. It was pretty close though. I'm 5'8" 155#, 41" chest, 32-33" waist. If that helps anyone...
P.S. Heard a rumor they might not do this guy next year so buy up!

I bought this for a bro that just found out they are preg with their first. They did say that they like it. I have the Backcountry.com Beater T-shirt in the same fabric and it is awesome. I'm sure any baby would love this soft breathable supple fabric against their skin! Woot!

Stoked they do a lefty and a righty. So rad! My feet stink, the wool totally helps my paws not get so dank. In fact my wife has let me come off the couch and back into bed cuz my feet are actually bearable! Ha ha, jk. No but for reals the merino is stench free and for that reason I'll be back like Arnold.
Great for trail running and just wearing around. Love the foot gloves aka socks!

Burly, beefy and gets the job done. Gangster-est case I could find. Great if you are the type to just throw you gear all in one bag. You don't want your gogg's gettin scratched up so protect that investment.... duh!

I really like the minimus stuff and this follows suit. Though I can't tell you how many miles its will live for I will say this it is a great minimal option for those who can't stand vibram five fingers but love vibram. It offers a little more support or padding than someting like the VFF's. I have hand a few decent runs in them like an 11 miler and a few 7's. Great shoe, so comfortable I find myself wearing them all the time.

I bought this as a gift for my brother's birthday. He's a sales rep and didn't want to look like a tool carrying a briefcase so he kind of hinted it to me and I grabbed it for him. Surprise! He said he has been stoked. Only drawback is that there is no handle to carry by hand. Only the shoulder strap. He did say that it has helped him stay organized with all the little pockets and pouches. Good gift and a happy sales-rep bro.

So I've been using the Chops Buds for a few weeks now. Typical SkullCandy sound so nothing new there. If you like their sound, you know what it's like. Average nothing to die for but ok. They are the type of headphone that will do the job and that's about it. Nothing fancy, the fit is ok. I wish they part that actually goes in the ear was a little smaller it kinda hurts my ears. We'll see if I change my mind as time goes on but for now 3 stars. Adequate to get the sound during a run.

I'm 5'8" 155 with a 41" chest (you know? a Real-Man's Chest) size chart suggested a medium and that is right. I am comfortable, not too tight.
I have only used it for a Halloween party so I can't comment on what it's like to ride in it yet...
