Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I wear these boots all year round, whether it is snowshoeing in the winter or camping in the summer these are my go to boots. Once you break them in which takes no time, they will feel like gym shoes and combine with Gore-Tex you can guarantee your feet will stay dry. I have owned other boots such as Asolo before which were nice but obviously not as nice as these since I got rid of the Asolos after one year. If you are looking for an awesome boot I would highly recommend these. Plus who doesn't like boots that stand out from the others, the green is sweet.

I own both the R1 and the Stryka and I would say the R1 is lighter and allows for more airflow. The Stryka is a warmer base/mid layer. I have worn it over a t-shirt and as a base layer. It is very comfortable and does have a longer cut than the R1. I have a large which I can pull over my butt when wearing it as a standalone piece.

I call this jacket my Sleeping Bag jacket, it is the most comfortable jacket in my arsenal of jackets. It provides me with the needed warmth when the temperatures drop but yet when I come indoors I find that I do not need to take it off. There have been days where I put the jacket on in the morning and do not take it off until I have to go to bed. It is the best all around jacket if you are looking for something light and comfortable. Soft shells are nice and good all around jackets but Atom LT is in its own category, like I said it is like wearing a sleeping bag minus the bulk.

Summer Pack
3 5

I purchased this pack for ice climbing and it is perfect for that, I would use it to hold all the gear I needed for a day of climbing. I am currently in Italy studying and I have been using this pack for my weekend travels. It holds everything I need for a weekend backpack trip but the one thing that I have now noticed because of the heat is that there is little if no ventilation on the backpanel of this pack. It would get so hot on my back when I was in the sun and 80 degree temps. If you are looking for a pack to travel with and not use for a specific task, you should look at some of arcteryx other backpacking packs.
