Crush on my Rapture's Bio

Snowboarding is fun, but our local parks kind of suck ... I'm still a n00b but I'm getting better so now I look forward to the snow and 30 degree days - especially when there's fresh powder because our parks are almost always manufactured snow and popcorn ice. Ride and 32 are the best companies ever and I'll never deviate from 'em.

Hmm maybe the other reviewer had a defective pair. I have two pairs and they've held up better than I could've ever hoped. I took a few nasty wrecks last year, most of them on ice, and they haven't been damaged at all. They keep me warm and dry all day! I don't ever want to try another company, because SB knows exactly what they're doing.

I swear by SB, and this is no exception. Although thin, it IS completely windproof - something much appreciated in autumn & early winter. It's also pretty toasty, but it's not like you can wear it over a thermal and be good in the middle of January. Definitely a layering piece for riding, or for kicking around when the weather starts to cool. The only thing I don't particularly care for is how the torso isn't that long. But it's fitted snug, so it's not like it'll creep up a whole lot. The gray is a "cute" print ... I got this for its ability, not the pattern, but it's subtle.
