I have tried on many boots, and I always have trouble finding the right ones. My right foot is about a full size bigger than my left foot. I end up buying boots that are snug on my right foot, so that after packing out... they'll be a good fit for my right foot and I can put an extra sole into my left boot...
Any how, after hearing many negative reviews about Black Diamond boots, I decided to try them out. Best touring boot I've ever had! Much lighter, 3-buckle system, compatible with both my AT setups (Fritschi and TLT). Don't let other people talk you out of them!
Also, I'm about 5'6" 140 - size 8.5 shoe. I usually buy 25.5 or 26.0 size boots, but the BD boots seem to run a little small. I went with the 26.5 size and I am content with my decision.

Bought my first pair of mittens this season, and I am in love. I only use them on the coldest of days. I still use some lighter gloves for better dexterity when it warms up.. but when it gets nasty out, I always keep these ready in my locker. Really good buy for the price. Most mittens with Gore-Tex waterproofing membrane are almost $100 more. Quite the deal.

Given these quite a few days already with no issues whatsoever. I am about 140 pounds. I purchased the 110mm brake bindings and waited for the right time to mount them on an every-day/all-mountain ski. My skis are only 95 mm under foot, but they are more than efficient. Great in-bounds binding for a lightweight dude/chick.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love nalgene products. And i love the size/weight combo for this bottle. I specified WATER in the review title because I've found that this is a very good bottle for water alone. If you are using multiple types of liquid in here, it can become messy (as would any bottle). The difference for this one is that with the smaller mouth-piece it can be more difficult to clean..
I purchased this as a replacement for my previous Narrow Mouth Tritan bottle, but I also purchased the wide mouth and I have found that the wide mouth is much more practical for camping. The narrow-mouth is only used for water as I doubt I will need to clean it as frequently.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Recently purchased this item as a gift for my brother, and I have been getting very positive reviews. My bro is about 5'10" and 165 and the size L fit him a little loose, but just as he likes to wear his jackets. Great fit for wearing over a long sleeve shirt or under a ski jacket.
