Colton Whitworthwrote a question about Gnu Riders Choice BTX Snowboard - Wide on August 29, 2010
I need a new board (or two). Right now i have a capita indoor survival fk 158 and a wide gnu riders choice 158. I won the capita in a raffle and because i broke my arm...i never got a chance to ride my gnu. So i have never really rode either. I am 6 ft and 185 lbs with size 11-11.5 boots. I want a short park board (mostly for kickers) that is stable at high speeds. I also want a longer all mountain (powder and trees) board that is decent in the park. I believe that both of my 158's probably fall right inbetween the lengths and widths of boards that i want. I think that the GNU might be too wide and the Capita too narrow. I am willing to get two new boards this year, but i want to know if my capita is too long and narrow for a park board and also, is my GNU to wide and short for an all mountain pow and tree board? What boards and sizes would you recomend i buy to fit both catagories if neither of my current boards will work for me?
