Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 165 lbs
Size Purchased: Large

I love this jersey so much that I tend to buy all three colors each season. Its the only breathable long sleeve mt biking jersey that is functional and fits right. The colors are always on point and tend to be more progressive compared to other "lame duck" and "barf in your face" mt biking brands (which will not be named, but you can easily guess). I am pale white and use this jersey as a sunblocker for rides to stop from turning into a boiled red lobster. Great job Dakine!! Keep it up!!

Snuggly fit but great short

Size Purchased: 32 and 34

These are are my favorite Dakine bike shorts but they do fit more snug compared to older Dakine short models. Normally I would fit a 32 but had to upsize to a 34 even while my waist size has shrunk over the last year.

This setup is amazing. At first it may seem heavy but once you put it on your back and start carrying it you are good to go and the weight is not an issue. They are great for short tours (ie the Wasatch in Utah) and are best on more mellow slopes. If you are planning to do a steeper slope, get a splitboard.
