I have one pair and now my girl friend have one pair too. They will keep your feet hot and dry when the weather gets really bad. I use them for back country skiing in Northern Sweden where the temperature can be as low as -30°F or less and these gaiters will for sure keep your feet warm.
My girlfriend got one a year ago in Europe (No velcro) and she is very happy with that jacket. We are living in Sweden and she is warm and nice when the temp drops to 0°F or less...so I got one for my old mother and she is also very happy with the jacket.......It runs little bit small....
Hello Anonymous, I bought the Chelsea down coat to my girl friend in Sweden and Guess what...NO Velcro. The European model does not have Velcro....might be to expensive to travel to Sweden......Cheers Clas
I have the last years model (without the drop set) and these pants are absolute great. I can strongly recommend them. I use them for Telemark skiing or cross country skiing and they hold up against the wind and the bad weather. If it gets to warm then use the side zippers......Great product. I have the Jacket too, and the jacket rocks too
This is a great product......I have had it for a week long cross-country tour in the northern part of Sweden, sub-zero weather, in snowstorms as well as biking in heavy rain and my clothing are still dry........It is very comfortable to carry, never any problems from my shoulders etc, but try them out before getting one, one cannot adjust the back that much.......
Great product, however, little odd sizing, long legs but far from that it is a great product. I have size medium, and I am 178 cm/77 kg, 5'11' / 170 lbs and they are not super tight, but the legs are 5-7 cm too long....
Great product, however, little odd sizing, long arms but far from it is a great product. To bad it is made in China. I have the Stinger pants and the jacket and they are made in Canada = GOOD quality, the chines are far off when it comes to quality, that's why TNF is not as good any longer.......and I know I have jackets and pants from the good old times, = made in USA and they are still good.
I have the Icebreaker Tech-Top 260 to compare with The Arcteryx Zip top....The Iceabreaker is great too, but the arms too short, the neck is very high and that is good, but one can get a feeling of someone is strangle you, the body could be little longer, the Arcteryx has long arms and the body is long too but the neck slightly too short.....with a longer neck and the Arcteryx will be optimal.
No smell, well I am not sure if you guys are sitting in front of the fire! I am out skiing, biking in sub zero temperatures in Sweden and both sweaters keeps me warm but I also sweet a lot and a wet merino wool sweater smells like a wet dog, but no smell when it is dry again.
Got one pair this winter. They are soft and fits very well, medium, and I am 5'11, 180 lbs, 33 waist. However, they are LONG, 2-3 inches too long, but far from that they are great. Also got their LTW Shirt, but took size large, don't like when it is to tight. Fits great. Not as soft as the bottoms.
I have several different PI biking shorts and they have all been great for spinning or long rides in sunny California. The sizing is perfect for "normal people". I am 5'11, 180 lbs, 33 waist and medium is great. I tried Gore biking shorts but medium is to small and large doesn't fit, so I will stay with PI.
Great stuff, maybe too big if you would like to take them with you for a long hike.
Got two of them and they are great, Will take them for a week-long backcountry trip in northern Sweden in Mars, cold and windy weather. However, so far so good, can strongly recommend them.
Soft and stylish t-shirt, get a size larger then recommended if you don't like it to be to tight.
I have several products from Gore and in general I am happy with them, however, the sizing is ODD....I have medium (Pearl Izumi pants) and they fit great, I am 5'11 83 kg 33" waist and Gores medium is toooooooo small, the large sit OK but not so good, gets baggy around your hip. An other problem with Gore paints are that the waist is extremely tight, it is difficult to get into them, and again I have to use large.....So try them on, or get two sizes so you can try them on in your living room.
I bought these pair of shoes some years ago and I use them every single day, super comfortable, warm and stylish! Can highly recommend them, as a city shoe or for long walks, never had a blister.
Got those pants some time ago but had to send them back, surprisingly, these pants are made for bikers ??? but they are to tight, they felt more like tights. Tricky to get them fit around the hips. All other clothing that I have is size (m), and I am 5'11" (178 cm) around 180 lbs (82 kg). Gore have some great stuff but the sizing is odd. For the products I will give them a 5 but for the sizing 3 stars. I tried size (L) too but they were to big.
