Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm honestly not a fan of any kind of headwear, but when you've got to keep your noggin warm, this will do the trick. It's pretty comfortable due to the sizing option that Mountain Hardwear gives you on this particular hat, and if you thing the merino wool will itch, think again. It has a nifty built in head band made of polyester that is incredibly soft. If you have a bigger cranium like me, I'd go with the size large.

First off, the feel of these shoes feel great especially if you have a neutral arch and a naturally wider forefoot like me. I also enjoyed the fact that these shoes like other minimalist footwear are sock optional. However, unfortunately they are not very durable. The rubber Vibram bottom has a nasty habit of trying to separate from the shoe and that same rubber has sub-par gripping capabilities. Mine also have multiple holes in them yet I've only had them for about six or seven months (I don't use them everyday, just when I work out/run).

I got these a couple years ago and they've been great! However ever since I chopped all my hair off they look kinda small on my face, so i would definitely recommend them for smaller faces (mine is at least medium sized). I've had to replace the lenses recently too, due to the unexplained scratches on my first pair.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great jacket for pretty much anything you want to do in 35-55 degree weather (except if it's raining, its not meant for that). Its flexible and soft, and therefore comfortable. It also has drawstrings at the waist line that you can adjust. I would definitely recommend it.
