Familiarity: I've used it several times

Have had the chance to use this several times in late winter/early spring conditions. I ride near the ocean so while the temps have been 40-45, the cold, damp wind can be a factor. It is really performing well. Fights the wind as promised. Keeps me warm but doesn't bake. Not heavy and the fit is excellent. I'm 6'' 165 lbs and always buy an XL in Castelli. I can put a layer or two underneath and the fit is snug but not binding. Got the blue and it looks great!

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

Looked like a cool item and needed another Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it! She likes headbands, kerchiefs, etc., when she cycles or runs and this has become a favorite. Very comfy, versatile, some warmth but not a gaiter. We live at the ocean and get a ton of wind. This keeps the wind off her neck and she thinks it looks cool. Me too.

Have done several rides now in these tights and am pleased with them. They are "tight" but not restrictive - a good combo. I've had warmer tights - on my coldest days - mid-30's - have felt some cold where it matters most, but for most of the riding I do I'd rather wear something that doesn't suffocate me when I warm up after a few miles. Chamois is relatively low profile but very comfortable. Best chamois I currently own. Am 5'11", 160 lbs (fairly skinny legs) and bought medium - great fit. One minor complaint is the the Castelli crab logos are plastic appliques that can come off fairly easily, But still a comfortable, warm, good fitting tight for a great price.
