No packaged, pasty taste here! Real chocolate flavor, great texture with added cookie crumbs and peanut brittle chips, and a big argument about who would lick the package when our spoons couldn't help us any more! Absolutely hit the spot on the AT in Shenandoah NP. We prepared it cold, but considered using hot water since we had 8 inches of snow on the ground. Never took dessert in a package like this before because of skepticism and indifference. Will always have this Alpine Aire dessert for future backpacking trips! Broke the monotony of M&Ms vs. Snickers.

I have worn other pants, but none have the feel, texture, weight, and strength that these pants have. I have worn up 14'ers and in the Appalachians. Great pockets, waistband give enough, legs easy on-off. True to size! Look great on trail and in town--I wear all the time! Begged my adult son to get no other pants but TNF Paramount Peak!

On the AT recently with my sons. Temps were high 20s at night and mid-50s during the day. I layered a poly-T, Capilene 3, and MontBell Ex light Down jacket. Got cool, though not cold, while sitting around on the cabin porch not too far from the fire. I was wondering about the 900-fill down! If I had been on Mt. Rainier or Shasta, I am afraid that I would have froze the during summer climbing season. Seemed above average to good on the AT in moderate temps, but I am skeptical about climbing. Fit very well--true to size. Layered very well over aforementioned clothing and under a tech. shell. Good movement. Personally, I would only wear in the back country--looked like a shiny bag in certain light.

Was on the AT in Shenandoah. The day was miserably rainy and windy. Hat was perfect on my bald head. Breathed! Kept my hood off my face and rain out of my face--my glasses barely got wet! Wicking was excellent which allowed the cap to dry very fast! I once only wore this hat to run, but it will go with me to the mountains from now on for such eventualities. I will need to remember that I take because it weighs nothing!

These MH Wicked Lite T-shirts are the best. Fit well. Wicking was perfect on a very rainy day on the AT recently. I wore this T-shirt under a fleece and never really felt any problems of chaffing/rubbing. When I arrived with my small group at our destination, this shirt took what seemed only moments to dry. When on a westerly rim of the AT as the wind blew against us, the last thing I needed was a wet T-shirt! The MH Wicked Lite T-shirt was dry! Comfort and protection were essential through these conditions; I received both!
