East Coast transplant to SLC to PDX. Loves powder dumps and dawn patrols, desert camping and slot canyons and mountains... anytime, anywhere... ever again?
Second the 125mm. Best answer Cory has ever given... for any question
100mms and 120s? Are you guys gonna stock these sizes too?
Hey Sandy, you said "The Radical ST and FT have a wider and thicker plate under the toe which gives more beef for wide skis."
Is it possible to add this plate to the speeds? How would this affect the ramp angle of the bindings?
Also, what is the difference in stack height and ramp between the speeds and the STs?
Depends how heavy handed you are with the application and how big your skis/board are, but I would say 8-10 waxings.
Why does it have to be sold as part of a package?
Will these ever be available again. These have been sold out for at least 6 months and Reps keep saying soon. Will you ever have these in stock again?
if you are looking for edge to edge coverage go with the 95mm width skin. If you want to save some weight the 80mm width would also work.
This works great. Easy to light. The burners put out a strong, even flame with plenty of heat and adjustability. My only gripe is that the lid and wind flaps have to snap together(no side table function) and that connection is a little finicky. That is a small issue though, I would definitely recommend this stove.
This pad is great. It's very comfortable to sleep on and packs down extremely small. A little lighter than my Prolite Plus and much warmer and more comfortable. Hopefully it will prove to be as durable.
This is a great all around shoe. Its comfortable while still being a great performer. The shape and stiffness of the shoe allow good friction on slabs and smears while still providing the sharp edge and power for standing on micro toe holds. The ability to stand on tiny little holds is probably my favorite aspect of this shoe. I agree with other reviewers, the only thing this shoe does not excel at is cracks... but they always hurt my feet so....
These are so comfortable. They are better than the big air mattress we used to bring car camping; just as comfortable but quicker to set-up, no batteries, and way more versatile. Worth the price!
This is a great little accessory. The "shower head" works great. So nice to rinse of with this after a long hot day in the desert. Packs down small, quick and easy to use. I'll be taking this everywhere with me.
Love these flops. They are super lightweight and nice and "mushy." They conform to my feet and last me about a year of everday wear.
Conditions encountered: Mank, tracked Mank, refrozen mank. These skis owned the nasty conditions. Skied the 186 length and they are great for me(6'3", 190lbs). Stable at speed, quick, easy turn initiation in tight trees. Even got these skis to carve turns on the groomers. Definitely could be a one ski quiver in Utah.
Skied these a bunch last year. They are definitely the most confidence inspiring, versatile skis I have skied. The stiffness is perfect for charging hard or bouncing through pow and trees. You can dump speed incredibly quick thanks to the "Slarvability" of the skis. Love em.
This jacket is killing it. The cut seemed a little weird at first, long arms and tight through the shoulders and armpits. Once I got out and hiked and skied in it these issues disappeared and the jacket was extremely comfortable. I have used it to ski tour during some very heavy, wet spring storms that left my partners soaking wet. I was bone dry in this shell. Breathability is great, easily better than Gore Tex XCR and comparable to my Backcountry.com Event shell(while feeling a little more durable). This may not be the perfect technical shell but it is very very good and at this price you can't afford not to give it a try.
no, these are not gaiters. The powder cuffs have a drawstring and a metal clip that you can clip to you boot laces. These are not sufficient for powder skiing or booting in deep pow.
you should get a 39 or a 40 if you have a wider foot.
yes. They will definitely work.
