Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got my WC 13's after putting over 600 miles in my Mizuno Enigmas. As always with a new pair of runners, I was a little worried as to the break in time for these shoes. Instead of doing a 5k to test them out, I decided the truest test was to go for a middle distance run - so I went 11 miles. other than the normal feel of new shoes, these were great - no blistering or joint and muscle pain other than what is normal for a run of that distance. Good shoe overall.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I change my running shoes often due to the number of miles I put on them - I usually run 3-4 marathons a year, as well as a few half marathons, 10k's and 5k's - so I am always training. This shoe has lasted me about 6 months of racing and training, and there is still some good cushion left in the shoe. Much better than almost any other running shoe I've worn in the past 4 years.

I bought my first pair of the Chops Buds 3 years ago and when they died I went on the hunt for new ones. The design has changed slightly, but they are still comfortable, and stay on/in my ear. I tried other brands, but nothing came close in regards to comfort and quality for the price. Have 2 pairs in reserve for the next couple of years...I tend to stick with brands I like, and styles I like - these will be the ones I use for the years to come!
