I have both and with my foot the Radial is best on centuries. The Prisma is a bit narrow at my foot's widest point and will be snug after long distance + warm weather. I am 8.5-9.0 US and have the 42.5.
I have a medium width foot and I find it fits well. The toe box is actually reasonably rounded. If you get these and have a narrow front of the foot - maybe get a shoe liner. That would take up some space and should be comfortable.
This helmet is very high quality and has decent looks. Functionally, it can save your brain bucket from a beating which is very important. The pads are comfortable and the chin strap is decent although depending on fit, you may have some excess strap. Ventilation works very well and is primarily provided by a large front vent at the the center of the helmet. It's lightweight and is very adjustable.
A word on fit - if you are at the top of the size range - go to the larger helmet.
A word on insects - if you have bees, cicadas or other large insects, wear a headsweat or grab a helmet with mesh. This one has no mesh.
A word on fit - I don't have a round head and this helmet fits very well!
If you want comfort and pretty close to the ultimate chamois, the RSE Bibs are it. I am 198 lbs and 5' 10" and 36" waist - the XL is close to perfect fit. If I wanted super compression, the Large would do, but I ride distance and I am so very impressed with these. My first Sugoi - comfortable, the chamois is not too little, not too much and is made of some awesome technology. Highly recommend for any rider, but certainly for distance. Outstanding and worth every penny!
This jersey is synthetic material that wicks sweat away to keep you dry. Definitely not cotton.
What a beautiful jersey this is! I bought it in red and it works and feels as good as all of the Castelli kit. Extremely good looking and extremely aero as well.
One thing for the potential buyer: this is a RACE fit. I am a 45" chest and 5' 10" tall at 195 lbs. I would normally order a XXL, but not with the Velocissimo - you will need to go up one size - I bought the XXXL and it is like a second skin.
Bought these gloves to replace PI Select Gel. PI gloves stretched out after a season. These fit snug and are very comfortable. I wear a Men's Large and these are true to size (a bit snug). Gel padding is great and they breath very well. I forget I have them on after some miles. If you want a great gel glove, give these a try.
This is a great jersey - does everything you expect with wicking and comfort and color. I am a 44" chest and 5'10" and the XXL is the right size (almost a race fit). No riding up - easy to reach pockets - full zip. No complaints at all - love Castelli kit.
I bought the base layer for the heat - the extra wicking moves the sweat away quickly and you remain amazingly dry. We have plenty of humidity here in Northeast Ohio and the LG top works well for me. Runs true to size - I am a 44" chest and the XL is snug (which is how you want it). I wore it in the wee hours this morning at about 50F and it also works for some warmth. For the price, this top seems like a great deal.
I purchased these tires for a custom wheel set. I have hundreds of miles on them and haven't had anything except smooth low-resistance rides. They corner very well. They handle wet like it wasn't and they feel very smooth on the longest of rides. I see others had issues, but I have pounded potholes, swerved into and up curbs and run over water bottles with no problem. Perhaps there are profile issues between rim width and tire width, who knows. These are soft and I expect about 1000-1200 miles will be when I replace them. My experience has been all good.
Just got this jersey and have already put a couple of very long rides in with it. I can't explain the fabric, but it wicks like crazy, keeps you very comfortable (today was over 90 F) and the fit (as long as you size up) is phenomenal. I can recommend Castelli jerseys very highly. I am 5' 10" and 200 lbs with a 45" chest - the XXL fits me like a glove.
