Typical great Marmot quality. Sleeps 3 (one adult and two teenagers) as advertised with room at your feet for packs/gear. Or, put gear in the vestibules. Hit rain, sleet, hail, and snow in the hgih country with zero leaks. Not an ultralight set up for sure but hey, it sleeps 3!

Adjustable shoulder straps and countless tension straps make it easy to get this pack to fit like a glove. Good breathability at contact points along your back. Top opening makes it easy to stuff all your gear. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is due to the straps that contect the top cover are tied into the mesh pocket portion of the pack and tend to pull pretty hard when you lock down the top. No a big deal and I don't see this affecting the longevity of this pack. All in all, a great pack for long weekends or ultralight multi-days.

This is my second Katadyn and this model is simple to set up and use. Fills a Nalgene fast. Only a few things to watch out for: After your trip and you clean the filter per the instructions, it takes a couple of days for the filter to dry out so you can reassemble. You should take a ziplock bag with you to store the hose in so as not to contaminate the filter with 'dirty' water. Lastly, the red cap that covers the intake is pretty easy to lose. Other than those minor items, the pump is great.
