Brett Allen's Bio

I up-rooted myself from the Midwest and moved to SLC for school (my parents still call me out on that). Nine years later my transplanted roots won't let me leave, nor would I want to. When I am not helping create the best Customer Experience possible I enjoy getting out in the mountains to play in various ways.

My passions are snowboarding, splitboarding, skateboarding, urban cycling, MTB, camping, hiking, and rock climbing. When I am not at work or outside I enjoy creating custom art work in my studio, everything from logo's and album covers to large scale murals. Sometimes I even get crafty with a hammer, old wood, and some nails; or cut an old snowboard into an experimental shape.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and breathable. I like them for long days on your feet when you are traveling or standing in a shop most of the day. I have a wider toe box so the stretchable fabric helps combat that issue. I haven't ran in them yet but they seem like they would be fine for a jog.

This helmet is very light and breathable. You could probably get away with using it as a biking helmet as long as you don't hang out with those judgmental road bikers. The ratcheting adjuster makes things super easy if you like to wear a hat under your helmet on a sunny day at the crag.

Sweet jersey for moto or MTB, the perforated holes make it pretty breezy but the elbow pads are great to avoid a bit of road rash on a small fall. Runs slightly large due to the fact that it's a jersey.

This thing saved my @$$ Canyoneering in some frigid slot canyons in Escalante. If you are using it for canyoneering you may want to buy some knee/elbow pads to keep it from ripping. I didn't have any issues but a friend shredded theirs. The large fits me well, I am 5' 11" 170lbs... roughly a 34 waist.

This thing saved my ass multiple times while traveling abroad and camping. If you don't have one, do yourself a favor and snag one ASAP. It's a lifesaver, especially when you are lost in the Tokyo subways and can't read the maps! Plug it in and you are back on track in no time.

I bought these for my Dad as a gift and he loves them. He can wear them to business meetings and grab a few drinks after with out looking too fancy. He gets compliments all the time and are his go to casual shoe. He has a wide forefoot and the size 11 fits perfect.

I’m a “one-bag-for-everything” type of person so I picked this bag to see if it would work for multiple uses. It most certainly does and no complaints so far! I’ve taken this thing hunting, canyoneering, biking, and to beyond. In some cases I pack gear into it normally, but when I shoot photos, I have retro-fitted a camera & lens “holster” inside. Since it’s the snow version of this bag, with the big zipper door, it works really well for pulling out my camera. Again, great all-around pack and it has withstood a hefty beating already without tearing or any malfunctions.

Definitely a great jacket. I use it for snowboarding in both warmer + cold locations (layer up) and it has held up substantially. Because of the armpit vents it makes it easy to wear this in much warmer weather. I was really surprised that in cold weather (sub 30 with only long sleeve under) I found myself sweating more than once. It’s fairly lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on my shoulders. The only thing I will caution about is that these do run large. So size accordingly—especially if you want to layer up or if you like a more tightly fitted jacket.

This bag is awesome! It's the perfect size, perfect fit. I can fit my board, boots, gear, and clothes in here no problem. I love the black and camo look and the ease of rolling it around the airport. This was a huge step up from my last bag where the zippers were broken and it seemed to fold in half when I moved it around. The zippers on the Rome bag are strong and the bag stays erect while traveling.

Love this boot. Super comfortable and perfect for what i need. I wear a size 10 shoe and have a narrow foot. After some help from a gearhead I ended up going with a size 28.5. Boot fits really good and after molding the Intuition liner it's perfect. Buckle functionality is really easy and I like it better than the traditional Full Tilt system. Would recommend this boot to anyone who is trying to save a bit of cash but still wants something that will perform and fit comfortably.

These bibs have changed snowboarding for me. I feel so free wearing them it's like I am catching air all the time. No more worrying about snow down the crack either. One downfall is the shoulder straps don't like to stay at the length you set them at, I had to safety pin them.

These are the type of stunner shades you wear at night. Can't wait for the holiday parties to start... the deck the halls model are the perfect match for any ugly sweater! If you are feeling super fast you could rock these on the slopes and bring out your inner Riff Raff.

There are 3 different Adidas logo's on the lower part of this sock but the top all have the 3 point leaf on the calf. These fit great and I am a size 10. I washed on cold and dried on low and they have not shrunk due to the acrylic, natural latex rubber, polyester, and elastane mixture.
