I have worn these socks on a few separate occasions for 8-10 hour blocks of climbing up and down stairs, lifting objects of 50-75lb, and jumping 4-6 feet off the ground onto a platform and back to the ground again. I am happy to report that on every occasion I did not get any blisters even with fairly new hiking boots, and these socks kept my feet dry and warm in 35F weather and comfortable at 65F. Also, the socks have a little extra padding so my feet did not ache or get sore at the end of the day. Overall, I pushed these socks very hard and they did not let me down.
