How many ounces of down fill in this piece?
Looks like I have a new favorite t-shirt. Soft, comfortable, and fits well. Everything you need in a shirt. The goat is an added bonus.
I'm 5'10" ~168lbs, medium is a perfect fit. Not too loose, not too tight.
After a weather scare on Rainier last year, I've decided to keep one of these clipped to me whenever I'm not carrying my tent in the backcountry. For the weight and size it's well worth it. You never know...
This stuff works. Plain and simple. It could be a life saver. I've even used it to stop a major nose bleed.
Nice to keep in your car for cleaning up after an extended period of time in the backcountry. No need to bring the stink into the car.
Who wouldn't carry some duct tape in their pack?! Especially something like this that weighs so little. Perfect for blister care, repairs, and bringing out your inner MacGyver. Is that a million uses? Oh well, close enough. Buy this. You won't regret it.
These live up to their name. Great for saving the glue on your skins during the unfortunate times when you aren't skiing. Cheap enough, and easy to apply to the skins.
Is Oregon coming back in stock?
Carries heavier weights well
I've used this bag for several years now. It's still in like new condition! It will last as long as you care for it...like any down product.
This bag is pretty toasty if you're even a borderline warm sleeper. I tend to sleep hot, and have used this bag fully unzipped in upper 20s temps with just silk weight baselayers. The hood is definitely a little claustrophobic as mentioned in a previous reviews. Most nights I use it as some extra pillow fluff, and sleep with a light beanie/buff on.
The bag is fairly packable for a 15 deg. bag. I tend to just stuff it in my pack with a liner to fill in empty spaces.
Overall, a very good bag. I got mine on sale about 2yrs ago. Not sure I would pay nearly $400 for one, but I've been very satisfied with my purchase.
These are a really fun set of skis. Definitely lightweight. Turn initiation is almost effortless. Really easy to cruise through tight spots (trees, ridgeline runs). Stable a high speeds, and rip on groomers. Haven't had a chance to use these on soft snow yet. But, for spring conditions and hard pack they're really nice.
Good extra piece of sun protection. Nice to soak in water to keep you cool, too.
I keep the MAX-4 pattern buff in my blind bag for duck hunting. Keeps the glare off your face to his you from the ducks above. Not too hot, and comfortable material. Highly recommend.
Is this coming back in stock soon?
Need some more goat goods!
I love this tent! It's my backpacking tent spring through fall. I've even used it in nice weather on Mount Adams. Ultralight, ultra packable. Setup is a breeze. Pitches taut, and guys out nicely. Holds steady in moderate winds. Haven't tested it in downpours, but stayed dry in moderate rain and fog.
Fast pitch option is awesome, great for going even lighter. Vestibule area with fly will hold a couple moderate size packs. Interior space is perfect for 1, cozy for 2, but can't beat the weight.
