Do you know when the xl will be available again? The price is right and durability is unmatched.
In comparison this bag has more loft than my stoic 850 fill 30 degree, but with a liner I believe my stoic can do everything this bag could do in a lighter smaller package. I decided to return this one and look into a western mountaineering bag to fill my niche in a light winter down bag. USA!
This jacket was a gift for my dad but when I received it I realized it wouldn't serve much of a purpose for him. It comes across to me as a fragile light down jacket, for camping and hiking I don't think it'd last him too long.
I just received the large Alps Mountaineering compression bag. I'm pleased with the look and perceived durability of the product. It packs my alps mountaineering crescent lake 0 degree synthetic mummy bag to about the size of a regulation basketball. Feels really durable, and comes with alps mountaineering rock solid warranty promise. Couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase! Also, backcountry got my order out to me in 3 days using standard shipping ,during the holidays! As always , I'm really impressed with backcountry.com
Does anybody have experience with Rab sleeping bags?
Not my favorite swim trunks but they are decent. On sale it was a good buy. Arden green is a cool color.
I've never quite understood stuff size. The large dimension is the height, ones width and what's the other?
The reactor extreme is a good liner, I was hesitant at first but when paired with a sleeping bag it adds warmth for sure. By itself it hardly does anything so it would be decent for summer. Packs to about the size of an eno double nest
I used my friends Gibbon slackline to crank a vehicle away from mine on a steep muddy road. Also used it as a pull strap to pull it up the hill. Very cool and functional for a car camping trip.
I would go with a large
There Is three different inseam lengths for your waist size , short is 29 , regular is 31 and long is 33 inches.
I have maybe 3/4" toe room in these. No sliding inside the shoe so I think it should be ok. I ran about 4 miles on the trail and eventually felt a blister between my big toe and next toe, at which I took my sock off and checked it out. When I got home I had pebbles in my sock?? So not a good first test as there were a few variables.
I bought the bright grass/dark fern color and it looks sick. I dig the blue zippers. The material feels super solid almost like a welding glove I can tell its gonna be tough. It's got a marmot patch on the arm and overall it's a cool piece.
Tried this on and it seems to fit true to size. It's to hot for down in the summer of NC, but I have a feeling it will be my favorite wear come winter. Seems solid and the price was right . Thanks BC!
Is this vest reversible?
I bought this bag for a canoe trip on the green river (NC) it performed flawless then and still does 3 years later. Anytime I'm on a boat I have with me my sea to summit dry bag.
My shirt is a little slim the cut is athletic , I wear a large and got a large here with no complaints. If you size up you might find it to be more comfortable for something less strenuous.
