i got the 2010 model (only difference is colors) and they are by far the best boot these feet have ever stepped into. I am an 11.5 in skate shoes, so i ordered that size. my big toe barely touched the edge so i had to wear em around the house for a few days. Once i hit the snow, these babies were primed. now my toes dont touch the end of the boot whatsoever. i used these in a mixture of freeriding and mountain riding, didnt matter, it was comfy regardless. hitting jumps didnt hurt my feet like it use to. and with the double boa system i could really secure my feet in the boot. it also features padding for your achilles, which truly makes a huge difference in comfort. After the second day of boarding my feet felt fresh as a daisy, while my riding buddies couldnt say the same.
downside - the stitching near the toe is susceptible to the edge of your board, so be careful where you rest your board on the lift. while it tore up the "leather" near the toe. its very durable and doesnt seem to be problematic structurally.Overall, these boots are worth double. the level of comfort is insurmountable. A+. def
will buy this model next time i need new boots.
