10X better than Black Diamond trim tool!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

For whatever reason, this trim tool is 10 X better than the Black Diamond one that comes with their skins. This tool easily instructs you on how to place the tool against the base of your ski and is dialed in to trim the skin a few millimeters inside your edge. This way you have your edges when needed on the skin up.

I attached a photo so you can see the amount it cuts and exposes the edge.

Nike... say whaaaa!?!

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

This thing is awesome! Yes, yes it does have a zipper instead of a button up style. There are buttons to make it look legit, but the flap with the buttons definitely covers up the zipper no problem. It also has a longer fit. I'm 6'1" and I bought a large. The Nike Sphere Thermal is pretty darn warm. If you wear a long sleeve shirt under this on a cold day, it could be a standalone jacket!

I've always been told over the years I have a rather big dome... Even with a big head and LOTS of hair, this beanie is definitely a looser fit. I washed and dried it and it didnt shrink up too much at all. If you like a saggy, looser fitting beanie this is a great choice! Also, the blue charcoal color has more of a purplish hint vs. blue in my opinion. ROCK DISCRETE!

I purchased the "blue" color, or red/white/blue. I really like the color combo on this one in support of the good 'ol US of A. I have an "average hand size" so able to get in and out of the bag with ease. Draw cord synches nicely to keep chalk in bag when not in use. You can use the waist band it comes with or take that off and use a carabiner to attach to your harness.

I bought the refillable style of this chalk sock. It has your standard draw cord to open and close. I agree with some of the other reviewers with regards to keeping a little bit of loose chalk in your chalk bag to help get your hands sufficiently coated when needed.

I bought these pants primarily for climbing. I often times scrape my knees/legs against the wall so these help prevent banged up knees. They are definitely abrasion resistant for activities like climbing. Fabric is stretchy ish so you have optimum movement for all your activities. I bought the brown color -- I'd say a chocolate brown or dark brown color. I also really like the roll up legs with snaps... makes it very easy and convenient to have your ankles free to provide breathing room for your climbing shoes or get your pants out of the mud!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Here is me shreddin at Alta, UT with my Smith Prophecy's. Smith goggles typically work seamlessly with Smith helmets (I'm wearing the older version of the Variant). Lenses are very easy to pop in and out. Smith all day errry day!

1. 2. 3. JUMP!
5 5

Here's me in my Salomon Geckos jumping off a 50-60 foot cliff in St. Thomas, USVI. These shoes slayed it this day and many others. Basically Salomon's "water shoe". Once I swam back to the rocks to climb back to the top of this cliff, my shoes maintained a fantastic grip on the slippery rock, even though the shoes were soaked. The mesh along the sides of the shoe allow for optimal drainage once you get out of the water. Bottom line: if you're friends tell you to jump... just do it!

This top fits with any of the Hydro Flask "standard mouth" bottles. This is the one that I use it with: http://www.backcountry.com/hydro-flask-21oz.-standard-mouth-water-bottle?ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6aHlkcm9mbGFzazowOjM
IF you have a full bottle of water with this cap, be sure that you store your bottle upright otherwise water will leak out! The leaking comes from the little gasket/rubber piece that is located in the loop or circular portion that you can see in the picture. Without this air hole you would not have any suction so thats why its there! Other than the leakage, it is a great piece to have especially if you're on the go.

As far as I have heard, anyone who owns a Hydro Flask is not upset they bought one. They keep liquid cold or hot for a goooood while. This one has a matte finish, but sticker friendly. Thanks to lots of people hootin and hollerin about these bottles, I had to buy one... and I'm not mad about it.

These nippers cut like any other. I do enjoy the rubber grip like many other reviewers have posted. Get's the job done.
