Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large

Full length zippers are uncommon and heavenly. Premium materials, minimalist design, and flawless assembly. The hook system at the waist holds well, doesn't rub, and allows a very small amount of adjustment in fit. The waistband is not lined for bare skin. On the inside, the ankle cuff lacks the burly reinforcement of the rest of the instep.
The fit is very generous in the seat, regular/slightly-trim in the thigh.

Fit: True to size

Athletically well trimmed Gortex Paclite pant. Easy on with the elastic drawstring waistband, but not lined or with button like the Marmot Minimalist pant. No pockets. Fly and boot zips are sealed zippers. Gortex pro material is well placed on outside, but inside ankle cuff is flimsier material -- vulnerable to boot chaffing and elastic drawstring wear. Trim seam is in a somewhat odd location in an arcing course down the outer front thigh.

Note the fullness of the gussetted knees. Flexibility is excellent when flexing at the hip and knee. Also unique in having strong exterior material wrapping the inside inch of the ankle cuff (comparable pants have soft material that can wear out when chaffing boots).
Lack of fully waterproof fly and boot zips is a the only significant detractor.

Fit: Runs small

Outstanding initial quality. Sturdy buttons, quality zippers and pulls, reinforced belt loops. Outer material is tougher than comparable Gortex Paclite pants. Velcro waist cinch mechanism adjusts fit very comfortably and quickly. Right thigh pocket has elastic inside pouched, sized well for cell phone or small camera. Legs and seat are lined with mesh throughout; this adds weight, but makes it more warm and quite comfortable on bare skin, feeling like they are best worn alone, not as pull-over rain pants. Cut is labeled regular, but feels more athletic; I wouldn't count on fitting multiple layers underneath. Stitching on pocket seams is sturdy, but penetrates outer layer at mid-thigh with small roll in the seam; would need to test it in hard rain to know if taped seam is effective in this vital area.
